Preview, evaluate and discuss over 190

funded by the Navy's Small Business Innovation
Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology
Transfer (STTR) programs. Combined with
opportunities funded by the National Aeronautics
and Space Administration (NASA) and the Office
of Research and Technology Applications (ORTA),
over 220 technologies will be showcased in the
'09 Opportunity Forum®. The largest event of its
kind - the Forum is designed to facilitate the
rapid assessment of strategic sources for open

TEDCO partners with the
Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare
Center (IHDIV, NSWC) and Tech Council of
Maryland (TCM) for a dynamic technology
partnering program.
The day includes keynote
addresses by upper management from IHDIV,
NSWC and access to some of their latest
technologies available for licensing.

Commander, IHDIV, NSWC. Registration ends,

Thomas Jennings, born in 1791, is believed to have been the first Black inventor to receive a patent for an invention.
He was 30 years old when he was granted a patent for a dry cleaning process. Jennings was a free tradesman and operated a dry cleaning business in New York City. His income went mostly to his abolitionist activities.
