The purpose of this meeting is to accelerate
the introduction of new, robotic
capabilities to the first responder
community. Near-term technology transfer
opportunities will be identified from
Federal Labs and elsewhere and introduced to
the attendees. The opportunities will

handling of hazardous materials, safe
movement, situation awareness & surveillance
and communications/data relay. Those in a

The Center
for Commercialization of Advanced
Technology at California State
University, San Bernardino (CCAT San
Bernardino) announces the opening of its
latest solicitation. The solicitation
is focused in the area of Force Health
Protection – medical technologies that
contribute to the prevention, diagnosis,
and treatment of battle and non-battle
injuries and diseases. The objective is
to assist the applicant in transitioning
its technology to the market and into
the hands of the warfighter as quickly
and efficiently as possible.
CCAT will accept applications from
industry, academic research
organizations, and government
laboratories beginning 8:00 AM (PDT)Tuesday,
August 5, 2008 through 4:00 PM (PDT)
Monday, September 15, 2008. An optional
