On
September 17, 2009, the FLC
MAR will honor its newest
technology transfer
standouts at the FLC MAR
awards luncheon and
ceremony. During this
prestigious event,
scientists and technology
transfer specialists from
the Mid-Atlantic Region will
be recognized for advancing
their technologies from the
laboratory to the
marketplace.
Winners
will receive awards in the
following categories:

Award for Excellence in Technology Transfer -
Recognizes laboratory
employees (and their
commercial partners) who
have accomplished
outstanding work in the
process of transferring a
technology developed by a
federal laboratory.
·
Laboratory Director of the Year - Recognizes
a director of FLC MAR
laboratories who has made
maximum contributions to
support technology transfer
activities.
·
FLC Service Awards - Recognize individuals
involved in technology
transfer activities that
have provided noteworthy
support to the technology
transfer process, furthering
the mission of the FLC MAR.
·
Outstanding Technology Transfer Professional Award
- Recognizes the efforts of
a technology transfer
professional (or team) who
has demonstrated outstanding
work in transferring a
technology.
·
Interagency Partnership Award - Recognizes
agency and/or laboratory
employees from at least two
different agencies who have
collaboratively accomplished
outstanding work in
transferring a technology.
·
Appreciation Award
– Recognizes an American-owned company, a non-federal
government entity, or
university within the FLC
MAR region that has made
outstanding efforts to
promote either the actual
transfer of federal
technology transfer or the
federal technology transfer
