Presentation: Doug Comstock will be discussing the application of NASA space R&D technology to commercial and public interest purposes, such as the Chilean miner rescue; water purification and other aspects of closed environment technology that can be adapted to meet terrestrial needs; life science research to mitigate the effects of microgravity on astronauts which, also addresses health problems on Earth; and space science sensor and imaging technology that has led to medical imaging advances on Earth.
