Whether you are a scientist or entrepreneur seeking to commercialize a world class technology, the WBT Marketplace provides a unique opportunity to showcase your technology and network with leading seed investors, venture capitalists and corporate licensing partners.

The presenter application is designed to accommodate two distinctly different types of presenters:

• Researchers and/or research institutions owning intellectual property rights for technology and seeking to license or commercialize it.
• Enterprises or businesses with advanced, proprietary technology seeking seed or venture capital or commercial licensing partners.

About the Event

The WBT Innovation Marketplace (WBT) represents the collaborative, year-long effort of investors, licensees, and tech commercialization professionals seeking deal flow from universities, federal labs, research institutions, and the private sector.

The WBT is deal-focused and diverse, showcasing seed stage companies and market-ready technologies that vary by sector, geography, and funding source (R&D grants and private capital). WBT presenters are selected by - and introduced to - over 100 of the most active venture investors and Fortune 1000 licensing scouts from across the country.

The 2012 WBT Innovation Marketplace, October 24-26, 2012, hosted by CONNECT and the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation will be held at the San Diego Convention Center.
